Current event about technology

The current event i chose was about a teacher named Jory Yerkie at Rock Hall Elementary School in Rock Hall Alabama who bought iPads for all of her second graders. In the article it talks about how her students all had their own individual iPad's in her classroom and how they all used Discovery Education to do their assignments. Yerkie said every student worked more efficiently and were more behaved while using their iPad's. I think it's a great idea to use iPads in our schools and classrooms because its a great and easy way to tech and learn but at the same time it could be bad. The children may become to dependent on technology and then what happens when they go to a school where they have to learn without an iPad?  They wont know what to do.
